This may be an odd question, but in terms of length, will the DRW fenders fit on a shortbed 3500? My 3500 looks like a little 4. 7L 1500 on the road. It needs to be a little bigger IMO. What is required to install dual rear wheels and the correct hubs on the front?

Even if they fit lengthwise (and on an eyeball, it doesn't look like they would), you would be forced to fabricate a fuel opening and filler neck extension in the fender (something 2nd gen duallies had, but not the 3rds). That could end up as a costly trial-and-error project.

I say get some stacks or something if you want a beefy look. I know I've only had my truck for 10 hours and all, but mine sure as hell doesn't sound like a 4. 7 L gasser. Hell the last 4. 7 L gasser Dodge I drove had a rod knock. :) Maybe it was trying to be a 3500 Diesel.

Yup, I was right. Just took a tape measure to my truck... The dually fender would be extend about 6 inches onto the cab on the shortbed. The big box is 20 inches longer, but there are only 14 inches of bed ahead of the dually fender's leading edge.

My 3500 2 wheel drive SRW short box just looks too small to me. (Yea I know, why the heck did I buy it) I am looking for a way to make the truck look a little bigger. I would like to put on stacks but I have a new canopy on it. The dual rear wheels on a short bed would look good I think. Any ideas?
