DRW Mega CAb or Quad Cab?

I need to buy another Dual Rear Wheel 3500 for my business. This is going to be my new truck and I will turn my 04 into a crew truck.



I found a 3500 Quad Cab, 6 spd, Laramie for $37,500, but the Dealer can also get a Mega Cab with DRW. I think I might be able to live with a short box... I think. I have not enjoyed my 04 Quad Cab near as much as my past Ford crew cabs, so I really would like to try a Mega Cab.



I do tow a lot of heavy flat bed loads of construction materials in a mountainous region of Montana.



Anyone have any thoughts to help me decide?

Mine is not the dually but I went from a CC LB Chev, to a QC LB Dodge, to the Mega cab short box. The bigger cab is really nice, even if you don't haul people back there a lot. It is way better than the QC. I missed the Chevys cab when we traded, and while the QC works pretty well, extended trips with the kids are much better with the mega. I have a couple trailers I can pull if I need to haul stuff. I also will not have a slide in camper so it turns out the short box works fine for my needs.

The GVWR on the Mega DRW is only 10,500 lbs. That's only 600 lbs more than the SRW, and the added weight of the mega cab eats up half of that. I like my quad cab LWB, but mine is a SRW.
