DRW Rear Axle Length

Time to replace my rotted parking brake backing plates on my '04 DRW which requires pulling the axle to remove the floating hubs. My garage is somewhat tight and the last 2X I had the axles out I turned the truck around in the middle of the job.... a PITA. This time I want to (hopefully) position the truck so I can do both sides without moving, does anyone know the axle shaft length so I can measure from my hub flange to the wall instead of guessing?

Don't know off hand but since they are the same park it exactly in the middle and thats as good as it will get.

Pull your axles outside, then drive it in.

Good idea, challenge is a 2 car garage with a post in the middle.

Good idea, that might be my fallback plan... at least pulling the wall side 1st. I don't thing the axle oil starts to run out until the hub is pulled....

Pulled the axles this weekend ... need 41" clearance from the hub flange to remove the axle.
