Anyone know if it is possible to put a front mounted receiver hitch on a 4x4 2nd gen while using the DSS steering stabalizer?

Thanks,

Derek

Might want to consider getting 1/2 inch longer bolts as you will be going through the hitch, the DSS and the swaybar mounts, at least on my 4x4 it's that way. I could only get about two or three thread turns with the original length bolts that came with my Drawtite hitch.

I appreciate the info, I am glad to hear that it will fit with the DSS, I will get the longer bolts when I put it on.

Thanks again,

Derek

I had the DSS and a front hitch receiver on my 2000 truck. I can't remember whether or not I had to buy longer bolts, but everything went on okay.

Good luck,

Loren

I'm running the steering box brace from PSC along with a Curt front hitch. Absolutely no interference problems. The brace mounts to the sway bar holes in the frame and my hitch mounts using bumper brace holes and existing unused holes on the sides of the frame. I highly recommend the Curt hitch. It's very nice and cost me well under $200.
