I don't really like the idea of the skyjacker relocation bracket and arms that come with the 4. 5 skyjacker lift that I'm putting on my 96 4x4 2500. DT sells some nice arms that are 1/2 inch longer and mount in the stock locations. Does anyone think this will work or will my axle be too far out of the correct position?

Thanks

Erik

Its the angle of the track bar that is the problem with the 4" lift. When the suspension compresses the forward movment of the axle becomes more exagerated. The blocks function as a reducer of the link angle. Without the reduction in link angle the upper arms force axle caster to change dramatically with suspension travel, not good.

I think the ultimate are the long arm kits. top arm uses existing lower arm mount and lower arm uses new mount further back. Keeps the arms similar to stock angles, not sure if they change the top arm mount at the axle...
