i am looking to get one of these set ups but i cant decide which one. I thought i was going to get the DT one until i came on here and read all of they problems they were having mounting them up. Also i still don't know a price on the DT set up yet. Does anyone know how much the Dual shock set up is for DT. Also has any one had problems with them. I am only planning on running one shock but i want it on the out side because it will be easier to adjust.

Thanks

Trey

I like mine, but. .

The axle brackets were too small for my Dana 60 on my 3500. Skyjacker told me I had military spec axles and their setup wouldn't work on it. I simply used 4" muffler clamps. Worked great.

I purchased the DT and had to send them back. They were poorly made and did not fit correctly, could not turn full lock becasue the lower bracket would hit the caliper. Took me almost a month to get in touch with DT ( they would not answer phone or return messages) anyway. When I sent them back I did'nt get back what I paid for them. I also had to pay return shipping. When I finally talked with them on the phone they did'nt seem to interested that they where built wrong. I purchased the Skyjackers from Jackit.com and had them in 2 days. Perfect fit with minor mods required with instructions. DT had no instructions. Any more ? just PM me, good luck.

I also have the DT trac bar and +1/2 link set and am very happy with them.

Wiredawg I think he means shocks not stableizers, no biggy.

I was think he meant dual shocks also. As far as I know there are several to chose from for the Ram truck. Super Life, Skyjacker, And I believe Tuff Country has one as well. Out of the Three, Skyjacker seems to be the most popular here.

I went a different way, I went with FabTech's new dual shock mount. I have a Ford that is stuffed with FabTech parts, and I really like the way they build thing. They don't officially have a dual mount that works on the 3500 series truck, but with a few mild mods and some patience it fits just fine. Most kits keep one shock in the center of the coil springs like the stock truck and then mount one off to the side. The FabTech mount, mounts both out of the coil spring and side by side. I like that arrangement much better, it's easier to keep clean and the shocks can be changed very easy latter. Plus it allows me to run remote reservoir shocks that would other wise not fit in the tight coil spring mount.
