I've read the many posts focusing on the "wandering steering" issues and am looking at the solutions to this problem. I'm considering the DSS and either Luke's link or the DT trac bar.

I'm wondering if the DSS and the DT can be used together: are there any problems with the mounting bracket of the DT interfering with the DSS?

Thanks for the help.

Toolman is correct. Yes they will fit together.

I have both the DSS and DT trac bar and they improved my front end tracking greatly!

Good Luck... ;)

are both usually needed? The reason I ask is bc my truck barely wanders, and as long as your paying attention (and there's no ruts in the road) your fine. I was thinking about doing just the DSS, anyone had any succes with this?

"are both usually needed?"

No you don't need both - dss will do it's work alone. The tracbar is a problem but there are a few fixes for it available. The main reason to chose the DT mod is that it is adjustable and allows people to recenter their lifted truck's axle under he truck. (When you lift these trucks it changes the geometry of the steering enough to move the axle to the left about 1/2 - 1" )

wow that stabilizer looks awesome and tough, i have the DT trac bar already and i LOVE it. after having to put up with less then satisfactory trac bar solutions on my old grand cherokee it is nice to have guys who build s**t as tough as i would. can anyone with the stabilizer comment exclusivly on its performance?

Before I did the DT trackbar the DSS brought the truck into check conciderably. Waaaay tighter steering in parking lots..... huge difference. on the highway it seemd to wander less. I was duly impressed especcialy due to the dollar factor!

my truck had a lot wonder and i installed a DSS a while back and it helped a lot but my track bar is bad so i ordered a lukes link just came yeasderday from piers any way the DSS bar IMO saved my sway bar last night when i hit a calf only damage was to the bumper.
