SW FP gauge - do you need to read just a LITTLE higher than 16 psi?

Anyone get the new Bully Dog brouchure in the mail?

I just got done installing my new DT Trackbar after work today. I needed it because I had previously installed 2" spacers in the front so the axle was off center. It's a great product. It was a no brainer to install. I guess the hardest part was the frame drilling but it all came together. Than of course I had to adjust it to get the axle centered and also readjust the drag link to get the steering wheel straight again. I guess to make sure everything is as perfect as posible I better get the toe checked. So far I am very pleased with the product.

BPINE,

It was pretty spendy at $325. 00 including shipping from DT Products in Arizone (520-776-4129). I had to have it so I could center my axle after the leveling kit. If my OE bar had been worn out and I was still at stock hight I probably would have gone with one of those cheaper repair kits but I had to have the adjustable bar.

Thanks for the info Mark, I have been procrastinating this for a long time but I need to start working on the front end soon. My truck has a bad shake after hitting a sharp edged bump at highway speed.

BPINE,

Trackbar could obviously be the problem, but you may want to look at the steering stabilizer to make sure thats not worn out.

At one time the dealer replaced the track bar and put on an additional steering shock as per the bulletin and it didn't help at all. I then added a second Rancho steering shock and that didn't help either. I hate to just start replacing parts but I don't see anything else loose or worn in any way. Maybe it's just how the original track bar hooks up? I know one thing it is very dangerous when you have to stop on the freeway to get it to stop shacking.

Hey Blair, I don’t think it has anything to do with the front end. You didn't know it, but every time that happened my truck was near by, and your truck was shaken out of pure FEAR  :p :D :D :D
