DT Trackbar issue

I am having an issue with my DT Trackbar. This may be a "stupid user trick" or "id10t error" or I may actually have a problem. Hopefully some input will help.



Here's the deal. I put the trackbar on according to the directions sent with it. The install went very easy... However, now that I've had it on the truck for a few months, the end that fastens to the axle is loose. No matter how many times I tighten it, it comes loose within a couple days and clunks every time I turn right.



I fear that I am enlarging the hole on the axle through which the bolt goes. Is there a fix for this?

Have you tried some thread locking agent?

I should have mentioned that... yes I used red loctite.

Is the end bushing worn already? It's possible. I think the rebuild kit is only $40.



After having mine on for like 15k now I think that the same bushing you're talking about is just about shot on mine too. No clunking, but definate steering wander. I'm going to go pick up a rebuild kit before I head out of here for the summer (DT is located here in Prescott where I go to school).

Geez, even the factory track bar will last longer then 15K miles. I might have to rethink getting the DT for my truck.

Get a lindstad kit, had mine on over a year and didnt even need to be tightened, much cheaper than the DT too

Maybe, but I doubt it. The truck as only seen 4K (admittedly Houston highway and street) miles since I put it on, and it's clunked since ~100 miles after install.

Actually I have the Luke's on it now but cant stand the clunking noise. Plus I have to keep replacing the bushing on the other end.
