Howdy,

2004. 5 2500 Quad-Cab:

Anyone have experience with this code, P0112, Intake air temperature sensor voltage low? I can't clear the code as it is pending and regenerates. I have swapped the sensor from another truck but still get the code. This is the only DTC. I checked the connector at the sensor and have 5v on the proper terminal. I have disconnected the batts and am in the process of reseating the connectors on the ECM.

Thanks, Kevin

which sensor did you swap? the one on the intake manifold plate [on the head] or the one in the air intake tube before the turbo...

the voltage low is the ecm is not seeing more than 0. 5 volts. the system does get 5 volts, but the normal range is from 0. 5vdc to 4. 5vdc. above 4. 5 and something is wrong [too low resistance], below 0. 5 and something is wrong [too high resistance]

I swapped the combo pressure/temp sensor on the air intake tube just after the air cleaner housing. Today I pulled the connector to the sensor and got a code for the pressure sensor also. Plugged it back in and cleared the pressure sensor code but it took several attempts. Disconnected the wiring plugs on the ECM and reconnected them just because. Still have the P0112 Temp Sensor Low code.

Thanks, Kevin
