I am getting a CEL with a DTC P0201.

I know the translation is "Injector #1 control circuit"

Can anyone tell me what this means.

I pulled the connection to the injector #1 and shecked the pins and wires. I pulled the cable for the TST (hooks to injector #1) and checked the harness and pins on it. All looks good.

Is this a code of an actual injector issue? I have read on www.tstproducts.com that it may mean a broken wire... but? I dont have any... ?

Can any one shed some light on this????

you will need to trace the wire to the ecm plug and test it from there to the injector plug, easiest is a wiring diagram. was at the dealer last week and they were fighting that on #6. dont know what fixed it but they swapped the inj. with a different hole and the code was still there. good luck.

I cleared the code and will try it again.

I guess the next step is to remove the TST harness and see if its coming from it or the stock harness.

FUN WOW!

my TST gives me the 2149 or 0336 code every month or so, clear the code and see if it comes back/ runs ok. the truck i talked about @ the dealer had a miss that wouldnt go away. does it seem to be running ok?

It has a bad occasional miss at idel when its cold. Knocks real hard every 3 min or so.

Then the idel is a bit rough kinda more like a 2nd gen...

I am also getting P0602 & P0606 ...

Have been getting them for a while and no CEL's.

TST said that they are common with there system ... . ?
