Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) DTT doesn´t shift in third under load

I have a DTT trans built by Hemlock trans in Florida in my 24 valve with twins, stupid pump, fass system and all the other goodies. It is 2wd which shifts smooth and nice in normal driving but at WOT or nearly WOT it shifts ok into 2nd but doesn´t shift at all into third - only if I get off the throttle it shifts after about 2 to 3 seconds. an alternative would be to get off the throttle, shift in neutral and immediately back into "D" position. both ways don´t realy help to pass that Porsche or whatever. It is pretty frustrating that this regularly happens when I accelarate hard. Any ideas??Please let me know.
