Well I have been searching and reading for some time now and have ordered my new trany with billet input and output shafts. Scott at Massdeisel will be doing the work. His shop is 110 miles from me and I will be dropping the truck off on the 28th. It is going to be a long 2 1/2 weeks. I have also ordered the smart controller as I will be adding a exhaust brake soon. I have a comp. box as a ez i'm ready to hook up the wire. Thanks for listening I will keep you posted... George

DTT you will not be dissapointed one bit.

Do NOT blow it up! That DTT install WILL cost you more if Scott has to repair Broken stuff BEFORE upgrading. BELIEVE ME! Plus ya gotta get there taboot LOL! While he is in there tell him to give you a Dingdongulator Valve and set it to 30% onion.

Your going to love your new found power to the ground. Hey I'm a poet & did'nt know it. That smart controller is a good investment, along with an exhaust brake. Makes for some real good whoa power.

Since the new transmission is on its way pierce the wire and fry the stock transmission. Its funny to break stuff!!!

Yes pierce the wire and whoop some a**, If I had a DTT on the way I would incinerate the internals on the stocky! Dont care what anyone thinks.....

When he said ordered, does that mean DTT will send a complete drop in unit? Or do they tear apart the stocker and replace the guts?

I would hook up the wire before you have the transmission installed. Even if you still only use it on 1x1. That way Scott can test drive it after the install with the comp box on. This only applies if you are going to hook up the wire anyway.

I talked to DTT and told them im thinking of injecters and a comp. They told me before I ge the trany I should atleast put injecters in caus the trany will be tight. I am curently working the corner trying to make the money to get a DTT. Funny thing is though no one seems to want a 300+# bald jigalow.

The single best Bomb I've done! 22K mile with the DTT... Can't imagine going back. May I suggest trying a www.posi-lock.com wire Tapper (posi-tap) for the pump wire rather than the scotch lock. I think I will Solder mine anyway.

Ditto that statement. I only had 18,000 miles on the stock transmission before she got the DTT treatment. That stock transmission already had issues.

Had 20k on mine before I did the DTT. Was going from 8k to 13k 5er and was babying the 47RE like crazy to keep it in as good a shape as possible for the rebuild.

They did not have to repair anything before the rebuild and it cost less than with anything broken (or nearly so).

LOVE mine, ebrake also, all works really well.
