Best described as amazing. Talked to Bill Kondolay and ordered both his torque converter and valve body. The mechanic in the transmission shop that put them in had a Dodge Diesel as well.
I have a 2001 Ram 3500 dually, 4:10, auto with 275's and VA Box.
As I stepped into the truck for the first test drive, the first thing I noticed was the instant I began to press the accelerator, the truck instantly accelerated with no hesitation at all. This was such a huge difference in the transmission. The next thing I noticed was the deceleration when I took my foot off the pedal. Previously, the truck just coasted to what seemed like forever. At any speed the acceleration is immediate and totally hard to believe this is a 7000+ lb. truck. John Menan of "Menan Transmissions" then, at my request, lowered the shifting speed a bit and declared the truck had perfect shifting - I agreed. He said he would recommend that torque converter to anyone who was interested in putting more power to the ground. One thing I as not aware of was the fact I would need to have the transmission oil changed in 1000 miles - I will go to Amsoil.
I had the choice of soft, firm, or hard shifting. I choose "firm" and am totally pleased. I recommend this combo to anyone who has boosted the engine power!

Patrick, I don't know the efficiency. Kondolay was setit up to pull a 14000 lb 5th wheel. Somewhere I believe I read the efficiency is about 93% but don't quote me. I might have seen that % on one of the threads.
I bought the parts through an introductory group purchase on this site which was a great help.
