Archived dtt trans stalls engine

help ... new dtt trans locked in first gear... . stalls when i put it in drive... . had to roll start to get it going... dose not stall in reverse... anybody got ideas... thank you

For some reason your TC is in a locked state. Once rolling does it shift up, or is it truly stuck in 1st gear? Is it possible you may have damaged the control plug or harness causing the #7 pin/conductor to be grounded? TC will not lock up in reverse, that's normal.

Disconnect the trans control harness to see if that will stop the problem. If it doesn't take trans out and send back.

Sounds like TC is "locked up" even with the mystery switch I can't lock up in reverse .

Thanks guys... called bill k ... he said lets start with the batteries. . one of them was... 6. 6 volts after a load test no problem now... . that was scattershotp
