I recently had my trans. rebuilt using a DTT converter, valvebody, billet servo and the rest was stock parts.

I do like it so far but have a few questions. It seems like how hard it shifts is related to throttle position, sometimes it hits firm others it doesn't . It doesn't feel like it's slipping or anything though. Also when driving real light on the pedal it feels like it shifts through the gears fast. Is this all pretty normal ?

I really don't have anything to compare against other than the way the old stock trans. was.

Which valve body did you get? They have a towing vb, a livestock vb, & a race vb. They all shift differently. I have the 89% towing vb & the shifts are firm, but not neck snapping. Then they are a little firmer if I leave the smart cont. on with the TC locked.

The higher the rpms the higher the line presure the harder the shifts.

I am going to try the 48RE Smart Controller when they get one back in stock. Bill says that it unlocks TC during shifts. SNOKING
