50,000 miles ago I had my auto transmission valve body modified to promote better lubrication of the transmission and create higher line pressures for quicker and firmer shift points. The modification worked as advertised and the truck ran fine, but the higher line pressures created very hard shifts instead of just firm. Last night I drove south to Midlothian, Texas and Jim Northum installed a DTT valve body and quite frankly, the results are amazing. The lower line pressures give me shift points that are firm, but very smooth. Having driven the truck over 100,000 miles I am very aware of my truck's performance and I am confident my horsepower and torque are being transferred to the ground. This 8,000 pound truck shifts as smooth as my business partners Cadillac.
Amazing. Oo.
