50,000 miles ago I had my auto transmission valve body modified to promote better lubrication of the transmission and create higher line pressures for quicker and firmer shift points. The modification worked as advertised and the truck ran fine, but the higher line pressures created very hard shifts instead of just firm. Last night I drove south to Midlothian, Texas and Jim Northum installed a DTT valve body and quite frankly, the results are amazing. The lower line pressures give me shift points that are firm, but very smooth. Having driven the truck over 100,000 miles I am very aware of my truck's performance and I am confident my horsepower and torque are being transferred to the ground. This 8,000 pound truck shifts as smooth as my business partners Cadillac.

Amazing. Oo.

DOWG,

Do you know what pressures you were running with your previous setup?

Idle, WOT, etc.

What pressures do you have now? Just curious.

Having high pressure doesn't mean you have to put up with harsh shifts. You can have either one without the other!

James is good isn't he!

Did I mention.....

that James is doing my transmission to two weeks..... Ok so it's my chance to brag now. I guess I'll get to come down and see what a little plate will pump out on the 16th.
