Dual Front Receiver hitches

I just finished fabricating and installing dual front receiver hitches. They will first be used for towing the Ram. I will post a pic of the receivers with ball mounts in them. I also fabricated my own heavy duty tow bar. Uses for the dual receivers should be limitless... tow hooks, light mounts, heavy duty grill guards, engine service steps and platforms, winch mounts, battering rams... ... ... ... ... .

Yup, I made a set of those a couple of months ago. I have a set of pushbars from a previous ramcharger that fit into a custom made (by me) bumper.



I've used those to push cars, trucks, tractors, buses - it's great!



I'm just a little leary on the air bag if I'd tap something too hard - that would be a pisser!

dual front receivers

nope, i'm not ready to make and sell these suckers. lotta work. bolted on to the frame with the bumper, with a brace bolted onto the front cross member. more pix of the piece in my album in the readers rigs section. base plate for the receiver is 1/2 " steel plate.

turned the goat into a "toad" yesterday. tows nice!

thought i'd come back with a followup on the goat as a "toad" using the dual receivers and a homemade tow bar. towed it up to the TDR get together in pigeon forge the 16-19 of may, behind the rollin' redneck residence. towed like a dream. miles didn't register on the odometer.

Ya got a snow plow to fit them thar thangs?

nope, but i think they may be heavy enough to mount one there. shouldn't be hard to make. 2" square tube 1/4" wall should be heavy enough to mount a plow on, using the two mounting points. base plates for the receivers are 1/2" steel plate with added 2"x3" tube braces, and mount on the frame with five 1/2" bolts on each side.

You could make one hell of a fishing setup with that. Bigass beercooler & fishing pole holder.....

I had plans for this with my single front hitch that will come on my UTE bumper, now I gotta do it like you did. :{
