Help! My truck operates in two different modes. The first one: Engine has more vibration; Accelerator has a heavy feel to it; Takes longer for the engine to get to the "sweet spot"; Overall it feels lower on power. The second mode: This has a light "pedal feel"; Engine reaches the "sweet spot" quickly; Gears(6 spd. ) shift smoother; Runs like a "scalded a** ape"! I would appreciate any help someone could give me. This is really annoying!

I don't! This "piece of s***" does it by itself. One minute could be running fine; the next minute(or hour) it goes into it's crap mode.

("piece of s***" does it by itself. ) Hey there's no need for name calling!

This sounds like something with the electronics if it was fueling it would do all the time. If I was having these symptoms I would pop the hood and check every electrical connection for correct fit and see if that helps if not I would take it in to a good dealer and let them have go at it.

Like I said before you should try to be patient and spend a little time bonding with your truck and not getting mad and calling it names that doesn't help either of you.

I'm not flaming you I'm just trying to make a point here. :D

Thanks for your input! However, if you had as many problems as I have had you you would be calling it that too. As far as bonding, i know this truck from the bottom to the top. And dealers... well that is almost useless. Unless you know what the problem is yourself. They are not any help. That is why I like to get info. from guys like you that I have found know a hell of alot more than the dealers do! Thanks!

All the years that I've been a proud TDR member I have always been amazed by the amount of less than acceptable dealers in TDR land.

I'm very fortunate to have a dealer that is very good and really cares about their customers.

I sincerely hope you get your rig fixed ASAP.

Good luck finding a good dealer, they are out there just on keep looking.
