Attention: TDR Forum Junkies OR, Kumhos thrash Centerforce!
Dave and I both pulled exhibition at Ashtabula Fair in Ohio sun. night.
He let me borrow his mud tread 33 x 12. 50 Kumhos to see if my clutch would hold. Off the line it SMOKED, but held on after I got rolling. I finished about a truck length behind Dave, but I think he had the better track!!!!!!! He,he,he!
Very soft clay, I cut trenches down the track and was flinging lunker chunks over the cab! Quite a change from smoking the tires.
It did look cool, two club cab Cummins, one solid red, the other solid white side by side!
I wanted to go at the same time, but insurance says no! One track, then the other after its clear.
First time I heard the crowd cheer, I think they liked the clutch smoke!
I changed the tires back after the pull, too much tire for a daily driver.
Besides,they rubbed the fender wells when I turned, and PA police have a field day when they see
tires sticking out past the side of the truck.
The video was into the sun, and short, but at least I got some of it.
