I am not able to provide any guidance regarding your question. Rather, I have a caution -- The dual zone system is the only significant problem I have had with my 2005 in 70,000 miles. I would have 60 degrees less on my side and DW would have 80 degrees on her side. While under warranty, I had the truck at the dealer's on multiple occasions and a few times for multiple days for Dodge to deal with this. It now works fine but if I had known what a pita this would be, I would have pursued single controls.

So, beware of what you seek --

I too have dual controls and it works OK. I wouldn't go to the trouble to retrofit dual controls. The dual controls don't accurately regulate the temperature like the triple controls in my wife's Honda Odyssey. In the Honda, the temperature is set in degrees for the driver, passenger, and the rear seat area and it accurately maintains the set temperature unlike the Dodge system.

How hard would it be to add dual zone heater controls to my 05?

Very easy... Go down to the Dodge dealer and order yourself an entire HVAC system and controls. :D Nothing from you system will carry over to the new dual zone system. There was a thread back in late 03 or early 04 that I thought it was Matt400 that looked into it and said it was not worth it.

All I needed to know... so if the wife wants to be warmer she can pay for it... or put on a sweatshirt. . . :D:-{}:-{}
