Yup... I put in a bed liner to protect my bed liner. May sound silly and redundant, but from experience, it works. I had a forklift driver push a skid of bricks into my bed without a secondary liner, and I didn't check-out the skid before he did that... seems there was a nail sticking out and it did a nice job on the spray-in. The truck is an expensive investment and the price of a heavy rubber bed liner ($85) is cheap insurance to keep the resale value up and to keep it looking good.

Yes sir, I put a Dualliner in my 11. Its a fine product, however you may want to put a couple screws in on each side at tailgate instead of the sticky tape, the front locks together fine. Also some people attach the tailgate cover w/screws as well. I covered my tailgate with diamond platte alum, cut and bent to follow the lines oftop of the factory plastic. I started with the dualiner tailgate piece taped on but caught the bottom edge dragging out a feed sack and pulled it off. Best feature of the dualiner brand is if you need a nonskid surface, the floor is rubber covered, but you can remove it for a slick surface if needed while all sides are still covered. Truth be told, you could do the same w/a drop in liner and put a mat on the floor, but it would not look as nice.

DualLiner is a trademarked company that makes a bed liner with their name. It has hard plastic sides and bulkhead pieces with a soft rubber mat type bottom. The hard plastic tailgate piece is a problem area for 2010 and newer Ram trucks. It does not fit right (flush) at the top of the tailgate allowing debris to enter there and possible snags when pushing something into the bed.

Pics of the tailgate piece. .

This is with the piece screwed down. . I have been in contact with the company for 2 months now over this. Seems they think nothing is wrong? They have agreed to give some compensation for it.

Anyone found bedside and tailgate covers that get rid of the stock plastic pieces? I have a spray-in liner and it's great, but probably won't be long til the plastic is honked up!

On my last truck I removed the factory installed plastic protecters on the bed railing and top of tailgate and had them spray the liner over the edges just the same. Looked pretty good.

the 4th gen trucks have holes in the metal under the plastic. i think it would look terrible with the holes exposed...

Not sure about that? I had holes in by bed from a fifth wheel hitch before I had it sprayed. They plugged them some how then sprayed the bed. You could not even tell they were there.

I saw some pictures somewhere, don't remember where... The metal bedside is formed to accept the stock bedrail caps so it looks nearly flush metal to plastic. There are holes where the plastic caps attach to the metal bed which could be covered before spraying, but the shape of the bedrail isn't flat or straight.

the alum cover I put on my gate was a deezee piece, but it required some tweaking to work. IT fit the gate fine, but it has a bend at top edge where it extends over to cover the top edge of the factory plastic. it fits on the outboard corners of gate fine, but the factory plastic has a slight dip in center that left a gap. took quite a bit of work to get it right. thats why I say I made the tailgate cover. At least it seems like I did. You might contact bedrug, who has a new liner called bedtred that is a removable tiner that looks like a spray in. If you bought one of the tailgate covers as a spare part you would have a flexable cover, so that would take care of your gaps, and it could come out like your floor piece. One of their selling points for that liner is you can replace any section, so they should sell you a tailgate piece.

I don't like the smooth plastic and how stuff slides around. I took mine out (it came with the truck) and put in a 1/2" thick rubber mat I got at the feed store (it's similar to a stall mat). I did leave the tailgate cover. That part I like.

That is the nice thing about the DualLiner bed liner. It is hard plastic on the sides and front of the bed. The flooring is a thick non slip rubber mat that interlocks with the side pieces. The tailgate piece is sloppy fitting and looking. On 2010 and newer rams it just does not fit right as noted in the above pictures. It is really a hassle to have to deal with their customer service, I went round and round with them for two months...

I just installed the Dual-Liner on my new 2013 RAM 3500. I like the concept, etc. The rubber mat is too wide near the tail end. I took pictures, posted, and sent link to Dual-Liner customer service.

In a very obscure, hard to find location, they have addressed on their website the moving of the welded in tie downs to the rear posts instead of the rear sides. They just haven't included the slots to accommodate the change to the product.

A new rubber mat is being delivered today that should address the "too wide" issue I had.

Customer Service has been top notch for the two issues I had.

I will post pictures of the finished product once I have all pieces installed.
