Called all parts stores quoted from $42 - $180 each!! Did not even want to hear from the stealer.

Napa trustop 4885843 like $42 each list.

That number in their books is listed for a 1/2 stud however ended up for a 5/8 stud, they are currently talking with supplier to figure out what is going on. This was after talking with three other stores having them pull and look at these rotors. They had the ones for 1/2 studs at $145 a piece!! No clue why such a price difference other then manufacture of the rotors.

My bolts in the hubs are 9/16-12, not sure what the 1/2 studs listing they have is for. The hole in my old rotors held the 9/16 bolts tight but the new rotors have a 11/16 hole for a 5/8 stud?

I ended up with the ones for the 5/8 studs, ground down some 9/16-12 nuts to take up the slack. Went with the cheaper ones, I am good checking up on the brakes and run semi metallic pads (of course lifetime from napa).

Total with pads and my discount was like $89

plus about 2 hrs extra of grinding nuts.

total of over 12 hrs just changing front brakes, I was not a happy man running from parts store to parts store, with nothing but problems! should have taken maybe two hours.

Well all I can say is that I hope they don't warp on ya. I went ahead and paid big bucks for some Raybestos rotors made in America because the last two sets I bought that weren't made in America kept warping . It is hard to find any made in America but the independent parts store here in town found some for me . I told them if they didn't say America on them some where I would not take them .

brakes

from working i a semi shop for a few years, i learned to use the middle expensive brake pads and never use lifetime ones.

why, because lifetime pads will wear out those expensive rotors!

seen many semi's do this, the driver would want the longer lasting shoes and they would last, but at the time to change brakes again they would have to change drums also(not cheap on big trucks)

also seen a couple mail route cars do this also.

just my two cents.
