Dually rear end vs. Cab and chassis rear end..width diff.

Does anybody know how much narrower a cab and chassis rear is vs a standard dually rear?

Measured from brake backing plate mounting flange to flange. The C&C comes in around 54 inches. The dually comes in around 60 inches.



Some where around 5 to 6 inches narrower.

If you need outside to outside on a dually let me know. I can give you that. I don't know total on a C&C axle.

RV tubes be wide too

Only thing I can offer is that the dually rear I have in my Power Wagon came from an RV and we had to torch off the spring perches and move them inward a few inches and reweld them. Diff shop did it for me, but don't know how far they were moved. But, seems the dually rears are significantly wider on RV's verses pick-ups. Anyone know if the RV dually tubes are the same animal as the pick-up dually tubes?
