Dually side marker lights to turn signals

Saw this on ford diesel site.

They used a 3-wire to 2-wire trailer light convertor to make the

side lights on a dually do double duty as turn signals and brake lights ,with single filament bulb.

Would this work on our trucks??

Seems that if would even tho' we don't have the Amber turns.
