I wanted to check with everybody and make sure that we still can't get taller tires (than stock) for the narrow 17 inch dually rim. It's time to replace mine and I want to double check before spending all that cash..... Thanks. :)

I don't mind putting spacers on, but I learned my lesson on running too wide of tire for the rim on my last truck and won't do that again... and i think that is the only option, right? There is a 265 tire that is the same height, but a little wider or ... stock.

What size are you running? Sure looks good, I really like the Black (mines white)

It is best to ran the original equip size tires because the safety, ride and handling characteristics of your truck were designed for that size tire. When it was time for me to replace the 6 tires on my 95 DRW, I wanted larger tires. I called and spoke with a Daimler Chrysler Rep, who advised me of this information.

A little taller would be nice..... fill up the wheel well and drop a few rpm... ... . just don't want to pinch in a tire meant for a wider rim, did that on my last truck and wore the centers out 15,000 mi. before normal.

I just put on super swamper SSRs 35 x 10. 50R17. They only ended up with 1/2 inch between them, but that is better than having to go with spacers. Aggressive tread looks awesome, and they are Load range E.

taking a look at your sig, I think we need to see some pics of that truck..... sounds beautiful. Wonder what kinda mileage you'll get out of those tires... .
