Dually to Single

I have seen where a big wide rear wheel replaces the duals on the rear. I would like to try this set-up at the track. Any suggestions. How would this handle on the road?

They use to call them a "PHANTOM DUALLY", there was a customizing shop, like choochoo customs that does vans, that use to do dually's. They used a very wide rim, like a 12-15" and a tire like a Mickey Thompson DOT appoved drag slick. Also at one time Tradders Truck, in Texas had a kit to do what you want, I am not sure about now?
