Awhile back someone said they found a post of mine DUBIOUS I can't take credit for the thinking for buying property but the economy is taking a hit for now so the above link should give reasons to buy MORE dubious acreage LAND IS JUST ABOUT THE ONLY THING ON THIS PLANET THAT WILL ALWAYS REMAIN A TANGIBLE ROCK SOLID ASSET.

BUYING MORE!! as soon as I'm finished in a Tactical firearms course in AZ and a little R&R in Lost Wages Nevada. :D

PS: the brake conversion that Cummins 12V98 made on the thread that my son made looks GREAT!! Awsome job

There are farms in MT, N & S Dakota NB, KS, OK, CO, TX that are even bigger. Our property is spread out over 4 counties. Industrial Farming is BIG BUCKS. Im amazed myself at the cost of equipment alone, usually another whole industry in its self moving from one tract of land to another by specialized equipment haulers none of which own the farms just equipment following the crops throughout the country.

We took 200 acres off lease and are trying our hand at growing Alfalfa to feed our livestock, that was a major undertaking in itself. We have mostly old equipment that I can work on with a few pieces of new that to me was an astronomical outlay of cash. We had the 200 acres plowed and graded for water runoff. We thought that we'er only going to get one shot at the growing of alfalfa because of the growing & harvesting process it would be better if this were done by someone that had the GPS guided equipment do it for us. Indiana may look pretty flat but its not standing water would have been the downfall of an upstart growing plan to feed Horses and a old guy that likes to stay busy & raise what others call Freezer Beef and animal owners willing to pay for quality feed which would pay back our outlay in time HOPEFULLY
