Now that the new CTD 6 speeds are equiped with a duel mass flywheel, I would love to know what that is. I have pulled a many normal machined flywheels off in my life but have never heard of one of these( Unless its in a tractor. They have all sorts of different clutches, flywheels ect)) Why would DC start using them? Cheaper?

One thing to remember on these is that the flywheel should be replaced when ever doing a clutch replacement as it is a normal wear item just like the rest of the clutch parts. If you do just a disc chances are it won't last.
