Dully bed differences

so as I have been looking for a new dully bed for My 06 one place has told me that 06 or o5 up are different then the bed back to 02. which is something I never really noticed. I was wondering if I could get filled in on what these differences are and if they really should make me not want one yr over another. THANKS much

Not true. The only difference from 03-08 is in 07-08 they got rid of the ugly(my opinion) centre light on the dually tailgate. And the taillights are different on the rear, so if you put a pre 07 box on an 07-08 you would have to drill a new 1/2" hole behind the taillight assembly to fit the newer style taillights. by the way, I took a silver 06 box and bolted it straight on my silver 03 when it got damaged. Everything bolted on in less than an hour. Everything was identical.
