This morning as I was watching the stupid infomercials on TV I saw a new one, for the "Edenpure" heater (which apparently makes your room feel "like the Garden of Eden felt; before the fall, that is" - honest to God they have a testimonial that says that). Link . I can't figure how it's any different than any other quartz heater, except for the extraordinary price!
The company name is "BioTech Research: Better Health Through Technology". I notice they also sell an oil additive .
I think their name should be "BioTech Research: Better Health Through Buzzwords"
I often watch infomercials specifically to see how they make wild claims (and more importantly, implications) without technically violating truth in advertising laws.
Anyone else have any good examples?
