First day of the week, so first dumb question.

I have an Autometer Pyro gauge installed. Can this sensor be used for multiple gauge input? Like Autometer and TST PMCR or X-Monitor. Could I connect both gauge connecting wire sets at the connection point after the sensor?

Ok I can take it, how dumb is it?

I don't believe you can do this. A thermocouple reads temperature as a voltage generated at the junction of 2 dissimilar metals (I forget what the 2 metals are now). Anyway, that means every junction you make in the thermocouple wire will change the reading. So if you were to splice the wires to go to a second gauge, the temperatures you'd read would be WAY off.

Not a dumb question, by any means. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me. :)

It says somewhere in the autometer instructions that you cannot lengthen or shorten the pyro wiring (does not apply to the lighting and power wire) itself or the guage will not work properly.

Well I was pretty sure that it would not work, just needed a quick answer, before I go and screw something up. I will probably move the Autometer to post turbo and use the pre-turbo tap for TST or X-Monitor or whatever.

Thanks for the replies.
