I have about 9500 miles on my 02 truck. This afternoon after driving in normal traffic (city residential roads), when I pulled up to my house, I heard a BRRRR noise for just a second or so coming from just behind the cab. Im sure it must have been a fuel pump, but Ive never heard it in my truck before. Is this normal ?

. Unless you moved the pump, it's mounted on the block. I have my transfer pump mounted on the frame, just in front of the fuel tank. I can't hear it running when the truck is started. - Status
