Has anyone used DupliColor Truck Bed Coating available at Walmart? You do it yourself with a roller, brush or spray.

I'm looking for something to use on the very bottom of my camper's aluminum siding where it has corroded a little. I'd like to wire wheel it and fill small holes with caulk, then coat with something that will cover blemishes and then paint over that.

Not sure if I can paint over this Bed Coating, but I'm going to ask them.

Thanks,

Blake

I used the black spray on Duplicolor Bed Coating on my wheelbarrow. It held up pretty good on there even with hauling loads of 1" gravel for my driveway. Don't know if you can paint over it or not.

If you use something like Durabak, you can get it in colors. Same product, essentially. Very common for steps or floors, so I think you'll be fine.

Thanks guys. I called DupliColor today and they said "yes" the paint should stick to it ok, but no guarrantees. Said it should be ok since no one is walking on the walls.

The stuff is $40 a gallon and there's a $10 rebate, so the price is not too bad. Probaby a lot of other things it could be used on if I have some left.
