Need to replace my 11 year old optimas on my 12 year old truck, lol. Was looking at the Duracell line of car/truck batteries. They have grp 65's that I think I can shoe horn into my rig for like $86 bucks apiece. I have grp 34's now so I can always go with those if the 65's dont fit

Looks like they are made by Deka/East Penn and seem to get decent reviews, but knowing how our trucks are on batteries plus living in michigan (battery killing weather year round) I wanted to see if any 2nd generation 24valvers out there have used them? looking for real world, no bs assessment of them.

I would love to get some diehard platiniums but in reality for the price of two of those and the fact that I will likely be getting a new truck within the warranty period of the Duracells, I cant see spending the money.

Any help would be appreciated. I may have to fall on the sword and guinea pig em myself if needed, lol.

ps: i searched TDR and only found one or two threads that even mention them but they ended in 2011 IIRC so was looking for more up to date info.

Thanks

No idea. I replaced my batteries with whatever kind Mopar puts their sticker on at the dealership. Employee cost made them an attractive buy...
