Diesels and their future in the USA

Well I stuck the old G-Tech to my duramax to see what it would do. It ran a 17. 4@ 85. 5 in the 1/4. I guessed the weight at 6500 pounds for the hp setting and it said 212 max hp. Anyone else have any performance numbers for the Duramax?

Not a duramax, but I thought you might enjoy my g-tech numbers. My truck is a 93 CTD club cab 4wd with 5 spd, 3. 54's, a locker, and 285 tires. A friend used his g-tech and we guessed about 8000 pounds, full tool box, about 4 rifles, lots of ammo and junting stuff. With the tires spinning in 1st and going into second it showed 260hp. We are going to have the truck weighed empty and try some better pavement next time, hopefully it will go up:D

Hey, just curious, what are your 0-60 mph times like with the dmax?? Is the truck stock, or have you added a box. 85. 5 mph seems like a respectable number.

I dunno about a Duramax..

But I G-Tech'd my 2500 Ram (see sig) and it does

0-60 in 8. 5 seconds (average) starting in 2nd

gear. I have yet to do a 1/4 mile test or HP.

I did weigh it at a truckstop on a CAT scale. My

truck weighs 6,680 lbs. stock. (No aftermarket

stuff like pushbars, headache racks or steel bed

toolboxes).

According to this website, they tested one and got

a Neck-Snapping 11 second 0 to 60! :D
