BEFORE you get TOO carried away, also test out a new Ford and Dodge at the same time you are testing the GM - I certainly know *I* end up very impressed with ANY of the new stuff after a test drive. The only real question on the new GM is its long term durability in regular heavy use - both engine AND new frame design. I've had all three brands at one time or another in the past, and based on THOSE, can't complain about their operation in the least. I bought my Dodge for the Cummins - been TOTALLY satisfied with the COMPLETE truck - but the new ones sure are nice too...
