I know that we shouln't mention that name but a buddy has a 6. 6 and the injectors are leaking fuel into the engine. Does anyone know who has or makes injectors that don't leak like the OEM ones. Thank you for any input.
i would suggest an internet search, or maybe ad's in performance type magazine's. . I swear i think between the 3 truck mfg's, i have seen more gm's with injector failures then dodge or even 6. 0 fords. .
Have him call Danville performance. Those guys have forgotten more than I'll ever know about a duramax. They told me when I met them at Indy any injectors built after '08 were good to go. They also explained the date code but I have forgotten exaxtly what they said. They are very nice, super intelligent people. Just a shame they are stuck on chebbys.
What year is your buddy's truck? If its a lb7 you've for some work cut out for ya. I just pulled one today for head gaskets, studs and EGR delete.
