Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Dust cover, lift pump primer

OK - this is nuts.



Over the weekend I noticed the rubber dust cover for the plunger/primer on the lift pump was cracked. Figured no big deal - I'll call Cummins on Monday.



Called the Cummins place, only to find out the little rubber cover is not available separately - However, I can buy a whole new pump



I can't be alone w/ needing a lousy two dollar piece of rubber.

Who else has come accross this problem?

Where did you go?

What did you do?

Am I talking to village idiot at this Cummins shop?

I will check to see if I can find my old pump when i get home from work then if i can find it i will let you have it for the cost of shipping

Mines completely gone, Has been since I got it. No biggie I figure.

I cant find the pump and the wife says she don't know if she threw it away or of she put it in a box that is in my storage unit.
