I pulled out the DVs in my 160 pump to change the timing and the person working with me, thought they may be aftermarket.

i was wondering if anyone could identify them for me

the top says:

052

167

and the side says

908

562

any ideas?

are they stock?

he said they look similar to his laser cut DVs, but wasnt sure

Thanks

when i change the stock 131's out of my truck they said 131 on them. i changed to 181's they also said 181 on them. the ones you have in your truck are not stock but i havent a clue to what ones they are.

If they were laser cut you would know it. I mean they would just pour black smoke whenever you touch the throtle. Going by your sig if you had laser cuts you would not be able to make a stock charger last very long. Also laser cut dv's can say anything on them because they just get cores and grind them so the stamping doesnt help much if thats what they are.

If they were cut...

Take a look at the smaller part of the DV assembly... in gasser terms this is the 'needle'... now look at where the 'needle' would seal against the 'seat'.

Just below the seat area there will be a little collar above the flutes... this collar would be ground down or missing on a set of cut DV's...
