Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't have to remove pump to install dv's, right?

Someone was sayin' that I do.

Isn't it all just from the top side?
 
The pump does not need to be removed. You need to pull the injection lines and have a special delivery valve socket handy but that is about it.

Please fill us in on your dv's results. What size did you install? Did you feel any noticeable hp increase? Has anyone else just added dv's and felt a seat-of-the-pants difference?

I have 181, 191, 022 and lazer cuts. The seat-o-pants meter shows some very good increases all the way across the board.
 
On mine i got a very noticible increase with the 191s lots of smoke though but worth the power. on a 215 i dont think you will notice much but on a 160 its night and day.



Hey dual ee whats up with your 1/4 mile when i had a 6plate and 3k gsk with a tc switch i was running 15. 9s to 16. 1s does the extra cab and duall rear end make that much difference? anyway if i was in your shoes i would go with 370s next those alone added on dropped me to the 14. 9s 15. 0s

I am new at diesel drag racing-it was my first time out. I believe my launch time was . 750. I wasn't sure whemn the right time was to lock my TC. Someone with a

2 wd dual ee w/an extra cab will have to chime in if I should be faster. My truck weighs 7k. I have a little traction issue leaving the line because I don't have posi

(1 legged burn out) so I can't leave the line w/alot of boost. I have been contemplating injectors (used 215's/or 370's) or 4" exhaust. I just have to approach the next mod very carefully because my wife just is getting over the DTT transmission addition. Thanks for the recommendation regarding injectors.
