I'm going to order some DV's and injectors and reset my timing next week. Should I go with the Laser Cut DV's or not? What kind of injectors are out ther for 12 v's besides the 370's? And where should I set the timing? I was thinking around 16 degrees. I will be towing with this truck some. I would like to get it somewhere around 450 hp. Maybe 500+ when i get a chance to oring the head and go with twins. I'll probably run an HT3B/64 or 66 on it for now.

Go with 022 dvs, some custom edms or honed injectors and set the timing to 18 degrees. You can run this with good smoke control if you take the time and tune your afc. I have a few customers running this combo. Do yourself a favor and roll a set of studs in it.

The 370s flow enough fuel to support over 700hp, but aren't the best ones to use. They are cheap though. I'd like a set of EDM in place of the 370s. The EDMs would have the correct spray pattern for our pistons as well, and should burn cleaner. The 370s like to smoke and I have plenty of white haze when it is really cold out.

You'll probably want the 'gated 14 housing and the 66 pinwheel on the HTB2. The EGTs would kind of high at 500hp. A HTB2- 62 w'gated 12 housing can support 450hp or so, but the EGTs are way to high, even on the street, empty.

370's will do 700 hp or close but it will take a really good pump(13mm) or a really good set of Twins using a tweaked 215 pump. With a set of Twins like mine or say a 62/s400 or 3B you should be able to do it.

EDM's are nice and yes the spray pattern is allot tighter as I've seen this with the Cyl head pulled off. It really comes down to your pocket book.
