dw and removal of gate

The new10 has the feel of just starting the death wooble. My 04 was getting bad with dw, just one of the reasons for getting a new truck. It is eerie. It feels like the new truck is going to start but all it is, is the begining feel. Just a slite feel, Boy 1000 miles. Question will a front end alingment help with a little more caster and should the dealer do it and pay for it ? Next Q how do you get the 010 tail gate off, is there a torsion bar on the drivers side. I tried to take it off and being old and weak I didn't want to pull to hard and break the new truck ? when it didn't come off easy.

From my experience, they don't align them very well at the factory. My dealer told me they'd align it under warranty if it was out of spec. Well, it was off a fair amount. They may do a better job on the Mexican trucks.

Don't know about the new tail gates. If they're like my '07, tilt 45 degrees and lift on the right side. Be careful, it's heavy.

Tilt the gate back until you can pick the right side up of the pin. Then tilt it forward some and keep light pulling pressure to the right and it will come off. You have to tilt it to unload the torsion bar. After you figure it out the first time, it will be a breeze.
