We're coming. If the weather holds up, and no issues, we will be in Friday at 2PM at Cummins, show the car to the employees, and then hook up with the G&J boys.

Saturday, a couple 3 passes and then back to Denver to get ready for Indy.

Wanted to bring this to the top. I hope it will be well attended, so they will hold another one soon. I will be out of town for this one.

G&J Diesel, and a handful of vendors puton a great show at the brand new track in Acton, Montana. It is razor flat, wide, and nice.

We were testing the new ATS TripleLoc converter (double top secret model) that allows a much improved launch RPM, and the 47RE trans with a trans brake. On the first pass, Dustin did a pretty good launch, but banged the shifter from 1st to 3rd, skipping 2nd. The motor bogged down hard as the converter was locked solid, but it still pulled a 8. 95 at 163 MPH! THis new combo is killer on MPH.

On the second pass, after reviewing the data logger, we saw way too much tire spin in the launch and on the 3-4 shift, so we put the bigger tires on, and told him to hit it hard on the launch. The car came off the line, and blew the tires off, went for the center line, and Dustin had to abort the run.

We just got back home, and have not had a chance to reveiw the computer data, but he video we have seen shows it launching hard, picking the front end up, and then immediately blowing the tires off. The track may have been a bit green, and not enough VHT, but with a few changes, I think we may have a good show for Indy next weekend.

If you ever get to Montana, you have to go to this track! It is super nice.
