The New D/FW Dyno results....March 16

Official Tulsa Dyno Day and Race

dyno--

cumminntstrkn---500 w/#2

DTT--474 w/NOS

csutton7-401 w/#2

Brad-375 w/#2

Dan-375 w/#2

David-325 w/propane(IAT wire was broke)

Jason-ford gasser pullin' truck--460 (they had water int he fuel and were hopin for a lot more)

Ripon cluster@#$$ pulls--

track was a sand bog--they had 3 sleds pulling and one lady trying to write down distances--they didn't announce distances--it was a sled race as they had a demolition derby planned for 6pm--it rained hard for about 15 minutes right before we pulled---the lady missed a lot of distances and they were asking guys who won in their class---so who knows if the distances I'm quoting are true indeed--but of the ones in our class that I saw and the distances that I saw written down here's what we came up with---

winner---local ford with 80 hp chip he says--got on top and stayed there---funny thing also was there was a different sled operator for him and one other local ford and they both pulled well--all the rest of us got the sled owner as the operator

2nd--cumminntstrkn--distance I saw writter down was 164'4"

3rd--probably the other ford, but I never saw a distance figure--

4th--local dodge(james) 148'8"

5th-me 148'6"

6th--DTT 147'7"(great standing high jumper truck though):D

7th-psychostroker(ford) 142'2"

8th--local dodge (louie)---????

9th--11th I don't know the order--was a ford(KicknY2k) who did 118' x"--a 12v dodge-???---I don't remember what the other truck was----

like I said I'm not sure if the distances are totally correct---cumminntstrkn--took some videos so maybe he can double check and see if I'm right in the order---it's too bad it was so screwed up----thanks to Bill and Stefan Kondolay, Jim, Jon, and Jeremy for making the trip and it was great to meet you guys and to rub elbows with willyslover, rubberneck HVAC, torquesmaximus, Brandon and everyone else--next time you guys decide to come down we'll have to do one of the CM pullin' pulls as they're set up much better---no drugs of any kind were allowed and no extra weights---8000lb weight limit---it was nuts----it will be interesting to see what the videos show---please correct me if I'm wrong or if you guys see something that makes you want to change the order----chris

I saw pics- incredible track, I can't believe you guys got out of the hole at all.

Keep this in mind next time, everybody gets their own track numbers and two buddys to back them up.

The first pull I won, I almost lost because the idiot announcer/recorder wrote down a chick in a PSD that I put 40 feet on wrong.

We got him straightend out.

Hey, $43 was at stake!:D

there's some video's in the competition forum--go check 'em out and see what you think---the VTPA really screwed up the measurements as it looks to me that cumminntstrkn, local silver dodge(James), DTT, psychostroker, burgundy ford and myself were very close to one another---you know we had to give the 2nd place trophy to Jim 'cuz he traveled a long way and didn't break:D:D--just funnin' ya Jim--good job on pulling and can't wait to meet up with ya again and hook 'em up----chris

Chris, are you serious?? This was with the same equipment you had on the Red Sled at the Ripon pulls on Saturday??

Wow... . I would have expected at least 450 with your BOMBs on #2 alone. hmmmmmm... ..... Then again, I heard some of the guys complaining that dyno seemed to be at least 50 HP low for most of you guys that dynoed on it.

Tom

Tom--it should've said 401 hp--I mistyped--as for Clements I had the hot,hot EDGE, BD5's and the HX40--now I've got the B1, Comp and BD5's and I dyno'd with the DDIII's, B1 and Hot,hot EDGE..... so I would think/hope I'm up there around 500 hp--but we'll have to wait and see for the next dyno run----chris
