Dyno Day in Austin or SanAntonio Area...

We need to get together for a Dyno Day in Central Texas have been talking to some of thr Ford guys to get a good crowd, and suggestions on a place? How about a weekend? Ya'll chime in, lets get this going.

I'm game... I've got a few friends that I need to get onto a dyno to see what they're making.



Who knows, maybe another dyno day will make me get off my butt and up my hp a few notches.

The ball is rolling... looking at a place in Buda possibly but they might not be able to do a dually, so still taking suggstions. .

Ok I have lined up a shop in Buda for the Sat June 18th with a Dynojet but any duallysn will have to remove the training wheels, there is plenty of parking however and it is centrally located between S. A. and Austin whatta you think. The other oppption is the Mustang Dyno in S. A. on the same day. See Cummizpower's post. I need some preferences so we can cut a shop loose.

Hey Tractornut, I live down here close to JaMan, but thought about running up there to you guys get together tomorrow. What's the chance I could find some helping hands to install a SRT-10 pillar and combo boost/egt guage? I've got the tap and I think I have the right size bit (not sure). I also want to put in my cooldown timer the same time as I put in the guage. They are the last things on my list of bombs and I'll be done (for now) once I get it in. I'm a little hesitant to crank up my Quad box w/out the guages in. Lemme know, I'll be checking back periodically tonite.

I live in Grand Prairie but so happens my family reunion is on the 18th in Bulverde. I might try to dyno but don't have much. Also my brother has a ford and lives in Buda. Do you have an address for the dyno and possible hours?

I don't know much about Buda but I think he lives close to the new Cabela's.

Wolf no problem getting help. . we will doing some other wrenching. . so you will fit right in. . its a good drive from Giddings. . to waco... You will be one of the few third gens... I'd like to check out your Quad box. . and talk to you about how you like it. . (Check out the DTR for more info about sunday. )

dyno in SAN ANTONE

The dyno we have lined up here in san antonio is a Mustang 1750 true load dyno, that can pull up the dynojet numbers as well if you want them. . dually's shouldn't be a problem. We need 10 guys to show up. . i think we already have 5 guys lined up here so far. . who is interested ?

where is at in Buda, there are a lot of truck places in that area? Also, may be a good time to stock up on fuel filters. What do they charge for a dyno pull. I guess I could embarass myself with a stock truck :>).

The place is called American Racing Technology It is l,ocated at 200 Trademark Dr. you get off at the 220 exit and head South down the acces road and at the top of the hill turn at Trademark Dr. Is this where ya'll want to dyno at or in S. A. ?

Buda gets my vote. I know that the dyno in SA is true and accurate, but we do need to have it in a somewhat centralized location, dont ya think??

Yess and Jetengine Doctor said he was up for a dyno day also and he is a member so do ya'll want to wait till a later date to do it or do it next weekend and then set up another at a later date?

I guess we are shooting for Buda then since no one want to do it here in San Antonio. . i'll see if i can get the few guys i had asked to come will drive up there. . Jared, this looks to be a word of mouth type of deal at this point since no one is posting. . call everyone you know and get a head count.
