I belive Johnboy forgot to post out here about Saturdays Dyno Day, here is what happened.
Piers's injectors helped, I went from 302 hp to 363 for under $300! HP per dollar spent could not be beat.
One Ford managed 320 on straight Diesel, pretty impressive.
The propane sniffers ran around 350, one said he had 368, but it did not print it out that high. ?????
A few PSD boys showed up and thought they made smoke. You guys know the end to that story.
Thunders injectors and Johnboy's new chip were not worth the postage it cost to ship them, but hey, I'm a Cummins man, what do I know about Ford hi-po parts?
We had a discussion about STD vs. SAE hp. I beat Thunder buy 3hp on STD and lost to him by 1hp on SAE. What is with that?
Then, they was the West Coast correction method. You replace your first number with a "6".
Therefore, on the West Coast, I would dyno a 663 hp!
LOL!!!!
It was a lot of fun, thanks John and Don!
Don has a 600 hp Mustang that he drives dayly, trailer hitch and all to tow his gyro copter. It would be great to knock his top dog dyno sheet off the wall one of these days with a Diesel pick-up.
I did soot it up pretty well! hehehhe
