Results are in from Mikes Custom trucks Dyno day

Late notice, last pulls of season for central ND

I'm trying to round up some colorado and wyoming trucks to join your dyno run. I am looking for some more information and someone to contact who knows some local guys and trucks. See my post in the mountain section of the local events. I'm hoping to be there later evening(fri may 9th), and hoping that there are some rowdy good times to be had on friday night. My phone number is in the other post if anyone wants any info if they haven't heard of it or to help me coordinate something here on my end.

I've been thinking of going to Rapid. I'll have to wait and see how the transmission holds out at the Big event at Mikes custom trucks this weekend Dyno saturday and sled pull sunday. If all holds together I may make the trek down south.

Deadwood is only a skip and hop away and old saloon #10 is always a blast. Was just there a couple weeks ago.

Well we will have a 01 w/smarty, puck, 150hp injectors, SO injection pump, gdp lift pump, new clutch this week, and probably an adrenaline. and hopefully another guy that is going will take his 04. 5 tst and fass, hopefully I can meet some of the TDR guys up there.

oh yeah we are probably gonna just be up there for the dyno day, you will probalby get to see some idiots with duraturds from alliance up there that think their ***** don't stink, but the funny thing is mommy and daddy bought their trucks for them.

is there anything on the web about this? I looked on what I thought was their website but it kinda sucks. Do you have to pre-register?

I'll have to call about pre registering. It sounded like first come, first run. From my previous calls, I wasn't told about pre registering. The rapid diesel website doesn't have any info about the dynorun. I just lucked out by calling to inquire about any upcoming dynoruns, cause I read about a past run in diesel power mag.

I can bet the dmax owners think they are all that and a bag of chips. Seen a few myself. They prob have a chip and intake and exhaust, and "nobody" can beat them:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Irregardless, how many are going to be there the night before? I'm looking to have some fun haning out with truck guys-bringing some extra tires for burnouts and a strap for tug of war? I guess we could always party sat night after the run.

Well, my job scheduled me and the crew I'm part of to a power plant repair south of colorado springs, so I'm not going to be able to go to the dyno run. Sorry guys, wish I could be there.

Not going to make it either. In the process of remodelling exterior of house and getting preped for contractors to install new windows and siding.

well it was a pretty good time, had around 30 trucks there, met some really cool people. My buddy and the truck I do all the wrenching on won his class with 400/991 for the 401hp and below class. A kid with a 2001 won the 401 and above class with 1359tq. And he also won the open class. There was some awesome dodges, mostly stock fords and a couple of chevys that really didn't do much.

Oh by the way it was 35+ degrees the whole day and it was cold with the garage door open. If I ever figure out how to upload video to youtube I will put my video on there.
