Matt, were those prices at events? Locally around here at any given shop, just to run the rollers costs anywhere from $150-$190 for 3 runs, or an hour of time. If you can find a dyno event with multiple vehicles signed up to run, you can generally get a lower rate.
A place that I held a dyno event last fall here in MN charges $50 for back to back CLEAN runs. If they don't like the run, they will do it over till they do. They charge $100 an hour to use it and tune as you'd like, or $150 if they use it and tune. They are running a Dynojet 248.
Rob you need to travel this way. There is a shop in Spring Lake that is $50 for two runs. If you want to "test and tune" the price does go up. I think they bill by the hour in that case.
Cooker, thanks, thats good to know, my sister lives in GR, I can make a day of it. These shops around here must think that dyno's are made of gold, even the Cummins shop here wants $160 last time I asked.
$90 an hour in this area. (Madison) The dyno at Wausau charges $50-$60 for 3 runs. Speaking of that, Has anybody seen Power Grizz? He usually sets up the Wausau event.
