Pretty new to this site as far as posting goes, though I've done a lot of searches and learning here. This is my first diesel, and this site has been extremely helpful. Now for the question...
I just got my truck dyno'd last Saturday with my Edge Juice installed. My best pulls were 346HP and 680TQ which were ok. Not quite as good as I was hoping, but not bad.
The problem is that my truck fell flat on its face once I hit 2700 rpm, which I think says that my torque converter is slipping and not holding up well. Ken Imler (at Imler Diesel performance where the dyno day was) said that a new torque converter and valve body would do the trick. Any recommendations on a torque converter brand? I don't plan on doing many more mods (at least for now), and I want reliability and driveability over flat out performance. I'm pretty happy with the Edge Juice (w/ Attitude), aFe Stage II Proguard, and Magnaflow Muffler. Anything else I should do (besides the TC)?
Thanks.
